Goldie Hawn, currently in India, is making a movie set in the country she loves and returns to every year.
Titled ‘Ashes to Ashes’, she is writing, directing and starring in the comedy which revolves around a New York woman who travels to India to bury her husband’s ashes. “Though she loses the ashes on the way, the film is about the meaningful lessons she finds instead,” she said. Goldie, who was in New Delhi for an event at the Kitab book festival, kept the audience spellbound as she detailed her life, loves, spiritual interests and her autobiography — ‘A Lotus Grows in the Mud’.
The actor, still glamorous and effervescent at 60-plus, said her companion of two decades, Kurt Russell, will co-star in ‘Ashes to Ashes’. Clearly, she is very much with Russel, never mind the rumours of a split and her reported dalliance with former cricket star Imran Khan.
Goldie said she finds Bollywood films cute and particularly mentioned Aamir Khan’s ‘Lagaan’. “But no, I haven’t been offered any role in Hindi films,” she laughed.
Though she has been associated with many godmen, the Jew-turned-Buddhist named the Dalai Lama as her guru. During her current trip in India, Hawn said she visited Hardwar-based Baba Rampuri, an American who has been initiated into the order of Naga sadhus and has recently published ‘Baba: Autobiography of a Blue-Eyed Yogi’.
“I have a mission to track down what makes people happy,” says Goldie. Surely enough, her comic acts in a career spanning over three decades, have done just that.

He fooled around a lot when he was younger now he has probably decided to be a mullah and does'nt care about romancing or getting married to anyone.Somebody who knows him very well was saying that whenever he goes to London he still dates women there.Once a playboy always a playboy.
