First lets get something clear, toffa's are the most meaningless items in this world! They should not be a necessity but an accessory in a relationship!
Without that love and care behind a toffa, it means nothing.
Now to tell you the truth, if your bf is asking you for a toffa, like I mean really asking, then there is something wrong with him! Same would be with you, if you were asking him. Its different to give with love, but you should not be forced!

If you really loved him you'd send him a gift without asking others, just shows how this shallow this relationship is.

We don't have all the information. We don't know how often the poster's significant other asks for gifts or even what kind of gifts he wants. It's unreasonable to assume that the person who is not sending a gift is shallow. There could be various reasons why a person is not or cannot send a gift.
Also....keep in mind.....that IF (i'm not saying that this applies to the poster's situation).......but IF one is frequently asking for gifts/material things as a sign of affection......then that in itself can be a sign of shallowness.

Dare to dream, Pendu Ji? Some things are easier said than done. It would of course depend on what it is that your girlfriend wants. Is it something small like flowers and box of chocolate...perhaps some pretty artifical jewelry......or what if it's something pricier like a gold jewelry......or a car....or frequent spending on expensive items?

^ I dont think any one is bold enough to ask for a car unless they know for sure that they're gonna get a car. But still in a gf/bf realationship its usually minuscule things. And by the looks of it the guy just wants to have a gift that he can remember her by, something which can remind him in his old age of his youth escapades.

Ya never know.....some girls can be gold diggers. They may not ask for a car right away.....but they might make other pricier requests, lol. I'm just teasing....hopefully you'll find an amazing girl :)

gift him something that isnt very expensive. i.e a heart shape key chain or a dairy with some nice hand written poems. something saying u miss him/ love him. I assume these things wont cost you alot.
See how he reacts to that and you will know if he is sincere or not :).
