I wonder this myself. Can a good Muslim go to a bar with mixed friends? As Muslims we're not meant to just hole ourselves up in our own little worlds from the rest of society. What's wrong with going out with friends who may have a beer or two and the Muslim orders a coke. His friends see that the Muslim is a good, peious person, his conduct is respectable unlike other people in that bar. So is the Muslim setting a good example? Or is he getting himself involved in an environment that may tempt him to sin? Is he a strong enough Muslim to remain on the right path or is he picking up bad habits from this mixed group of friends?
Drinking, dancing, dating and smoking is not fun at all. You can have other ways of fun, better than those activities. I cant see any fun in those activities. They are not creative at all.
Yes EMM, clubing is Haraam. As drinking, dating, dancing like animals, wearing half nude cloths and flirting is haraam in Islam.
I have so many other creative activities. I paint, I read books, learn languages, read newspaper/story books and the most delightful thing, read Quran with translation.
I have a good sense of humor and I can understand jokes without explaination. I also tell jokes but not making jokes of any one.
And when you are typing in Religion forum, you have to be serious as questions are asked seriously. If you want to laugh, have fun, goto Cafe. I will join you there.
