To kids I’d say Allah is very close to you. I wouldn’t say He is everywhere because that can be taken into the meaning where Allah is part of creation. I wouldn’t say He is above the Arsh because that way I’m limiting His status. So I take the ayah of “Allah is nearer than your jugular vein”, simplify it by saying He is very close to you.
