Re: Is a wedding registry VITAL before the Nikah??? (UK)
Does the law state that the civil marriage should be first? My wedding is on the 9th of August and our registration is on the 11th. Our families don't want us to have the registry until we have had our nikaah, as you are asked to hold hands etc!
We have given our intent to marry etc and they did not mention anything about this law... Does anyone have any links that show this change of law?
