Abdali,
Have you finally lost it?
What you are advocating is that the most ruthless wins. That certainly is creative, and you can dine on whomever you want if it makes you feel good. I am sure you will make a fine example for Islam. And if indeed it comes down to the most ruthless winning, then he with the most nukes wins.
What we are talking about here is an extra ordinarily small number of fanatics driven by a nebulous political theory of hate by terror. Already we see Indonesia and the Phillipines pulling back from radical Islam in recent elections, as the most virulent forms of radical Islam become increasingly repugnant. Moderate Islamic leaders in the UK are publicly calling for cooperation with authorities to turn in recruiters and organizers to authorities. People are rejecting ruthless.
The Iraqi's in Fallujah may well have been organized, funded, advised or led by Al-Qaedda, or they may have done it on thier own. Who knows. I am increasingly proud of US troops for not over reacting to events, but unless the community turns in the killers, there will be some serious fighting, and the commanders of the Marines have forgotten more about Sun Tsu than you will ever know.
