If you actually read my comment correctly, you would see that I am perfectly aware of this. I was applauding all the women out there protesting.
and the rest of your post...?

Who cares about your two-faced opinions?
Where were all these crocodile tears for the will of the masses a year ago, when a over million Kashmiris took to the streets to peacefully protests against Indian rule? You remember...back when people like you gleefully applauded as your goons were mowing them down with automatic weapons. So what if a couple dozen men and women were killed, and hundreds injured...Bhatat Mata's occuption had to be preserved.
But now, being the opportunisits that you are, you're suddenly a champion of the rights of the masses.
there was no mowing down and there was no gleeful applause. It is painfully ridiculous to see you equivocating India's fight against cross border terrorism and Iran's subjugation of opposition.
It is quite pathetic really, this sort of wanton lying

Feel free to google up the news reports from May-June, 2008, when a series of protests against Indian occupation brought out hundreds of thousands of protesters across Kashmir. They were unarmed local Kashmiri civilians protesting peacefully, not "cross border terrorists." India responded by caging in the Valley under draconian curfew orders, and unleashing its paramilitary forces upon the protesters. CRPF forces opened fire on the protesters on several occasions, and in a matter of 2-3 weeks, managed to kill over 60 (including women and minors) and injure around 1,500 more. If that's not brutal repression and subjugation of peaceful opposition, then I don't know what is.
Even now, you refuse to condemn such actions because in this case, the aspirations of the masses undermine your nation's hegemonic goals.
I repeat, who cares about the two-faced opinions of opportunists.
and I m sick of you indians who wont let go a chance to put dirt on islam or islamic nations. get a life u moron and start doing some thing abt ppl dieing of hunger in ur own country
This is a protest from one cleric faction (Rafsanjani) who represents the Bazaari class (middle class) vs. Khamanei/Ahmadinejad faction who currently rules Iran and has support from the rural/poor class. Essentially this is a class struggle in Iran.
No matter who wins, the clerical regime will still be in power. It just will be a different set of clerics.
Islam is being used by both sides. And no matter who comes out on top, there will be no changes to Iran's foreign and nuclear policy.
Re: Iranians sick and tired of Ayatullah regime
I know who Ma Mooli is!! :D
Other than that bit of information, I have a simple question. Are any of these protests taking place outside of Tehran, because as Moonshiner said it looks like a class struggle not a political struggle.
....... indians who wont let go a chance to put dirt on islam or islamic nations....
hahah. So all those protesting in the streets of Tehran, and getting killed by BASEEGed terrorists are all INDIANS???
hahhaa.
What a leap of faith in the name of Islam. No wonder "Islamic nations" except few are all butt of jokes.
CM: really? please tell? :-)
^ If you're referring to the man who died during the G20 protests back in April, I'm pretty sure his exact cause of death is under dispute, as his autopsy showed that he died of a heart attack. I think the plan is to repeat the autopsy, and the officer allegedly involved is to face criminal charges if the exam shows that the man was attacked and died from those injuries.
yes because I am pretty sure had he not been pushed to the floor and beaten up, he would have naturally tumbled over and died in the middle of the road anyway. Happens alot in london doesn't it? especially in baton wielding protests.
