Without revelation .. he cant be a prophet .. but it could be said that he has the love for the Messenger Of ALLAH swt ..and his love For the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) exceeds greater than many people. :)

^^its said that on night ....poetic verses revealed on him....sometimes 400 **at the most...and he used to write the **first few letters on a page and in morning completed it with his memory....

Very intresting .. first time hearing this .. but could be possible .. but i wouldnt call it revelation cos revelation i.e. Wahi ... is only for Prophets but it can be called 'Ilhaam' ..ie. inspiration.

So you have any reference to this. that i can record. :)

^^ yes its just a metahpor...but just shows how great man he is.....

once i read in newspaper...and narrated by his 40 years old friend and khadim Ali Bakhs..that one night at** 3:00 am*..Syed Ali hajveri(data gunJ bakhs)* came to him with another saint...and Ali Bakhs brought **Lassi **outside from Iqbal Road, for them....

which shows how great his spirtual character is....he is definitely at very high place...

Yes i know this whole event .. but its a lil different as to what you read in paper.

But for those who dont know the event ..here what i know...
there were two saints imvolved, one was Data Gang Bakhs and the other was Khaja Moeen ud deen Chishti .. and a servant of Allama Iqbal, and Allama Iqbal had sent his servant out at night to get some youghurt ..but the servant said k i wont find it at this time of night and Iqbal replied you will if you .. so he went and out of no where an Old man wearing white cloths and white beard was with a Reri: Cart . where he was selling Youghurt and the servant bought it but the old man wudnt take money .. and he asked is this for iqbal, the servant replied yes so the old man said ok take it. and when servant came back to Iqbal .. before he entered he knocked and asked to enter . Iqbal replied wait .. and then another old man wearing white cloths and white beard. left from the house .. the servant then entered .. and the servant asked who was this man that just left .. Iqbal replied it was Moeen ud Deen Chishti and Iqbal asked have you got the youghurt , and he replied yes .. so Iqbal asked the servant do u know who gave you the yougurt ..he said no and Iqbal replied it Was Data Gang Bakhsh Ali Hajweri.

..MashaaAllah What a scene it must have been for the servant .. .

After reviewing the actions of Hindu Movements agains Muslisms, Islam and Urdu Language Iqbal gave up that idea and wrote:

Guftaar main, kirdaar main, Allah ki Burhaan

such a beautiful poem and singer did just while singing. The language in some parts is very difficult, but you get the general idea how he is highliighting traits of a momin.
