Iqbal has always been very confident in handling lines, space and colors. Each basic element is composed in harmony which each other, stolid ut statueque women in their nifty nudeness are re-lived by innocent looking pigeons; He manages to work on surfaces in painstaking ways that have his works the stamp of authenticity, coming once again closer to the real thing. The pigeons are arranged in imaginative compositions to the works, including the large canvas, take form of the “Pigeons play”. He changes the pattern in lighter tones and purer colors as in demonstrating his skill with a great vigor of youth who has so much to enerzies on the canvas.
