I was going to order one and then it hit me, does new one have SD card slot? No it doesn’t. **Screw **apple.
I’d stick with the android tablets, folks.

Yaar, what is that you can do with SD card that you cannot do with free Icloud. In fact between Icloud, Sugarsync and Dropbox (all free) you can have up to 12 GB of extra space

SD card gives you that flexibility when on the move, no network… ab main cloud ka intezaar hee karta rahoon?

Get a 64 GB one if you are anticipating huge storage.

I would stress the cloud storage thing, don’t store your personal stuff on the “cloud”. You will begin to see personal cloud devices being pushed soon (some NAS manufacturers are pushing those products and goal is to give the consumer more control over their data and WHAT they sync up with or use to store “extra” data.) and that addresses some of the concerns which come with the cloud offered by bigger players (apple, microsoft, drobbox, etc.).

I dont store things on Cloud, rather use it as a backup.

Well, for backup, there are other strategies you can use in your home rather than depending on the cloud. I would also read reviews (on BBB website) of companies like carbonite which provide cloud based backup… horrendous service to say the least.

While Cook has his own style of presentation and he is not trying to copy jobs (which is a good thing) but I really missed the experience of Jobs’ reality distortion field.

I’m not impressed with his style of “marketing.” He needs to be a bit more dignified. Steve Jobs could get away with it because it was his baby and somehow it did it with more grace.

for all you who don’t like slightly bulky stuff the ipad 3 is going to be a little thicker, it will also come with a dual core processor

Yes its about 5 mm thicker than Ipad 2, and about 0.1 lbs heavier. You are right.

Thanks to the launch of new Ipad, Ipad2 prices have come down significantly on Craigslist. Today I bought a 4 month old 16 GB wifi only (with receipt) for $300.00
