I mean you can not use it for regualar phone calls or Messaging like on a phone. For that you would have to use Apps that do the same through the Internet (like Skype, etc.)

aright…so with mobile data you can access internet anywhere (if you have an internet plan on your sim) but calls and sms wont be possible via ipad.
