You groom younger player WITH senior players not AFTER senior players
Having said that, I also believe its the right time for Inzi to go gracefully. Not because he can not play for another 12 months or so but becasue he is not in good books of PCB now and looking at the track record of PCB, they are not very good at giving graceful farewell to any player who has served Pakistan for this long. Now that Saeed Anwar was able to pull this stunt/deal (as per media), Inzi should avail it!
