Re: Inzi, Yousuf and Nasim talk to the media on team's return from SA
The after-effects of the unauthorized (and frankly stupid) visits to hakeems and assorted other quakes can linger on for quite some time. Like the presence of banned substances still in the blood of Akhtar and Asif. I am sure they are off it for several months now, but if they test them now, chances are they will still test positive.
Re: food, again, its a misconception that food is highly regulated (even during tours). Yes, I am sure the coach and nutritionist etc try their level best to provide healthy and appropriate food for these athletes. And I think they are successful during lunch and tea-breaks during the game. But our cricketers are highly paid people who do go out on their own at night. I don't know how many listened to the Shoaib Malik interview on TV the other day where he was asked questions by Rameez Raja and Malik narrated the story of how a few players went out to Kentucky Fried Chicken while on tour in South Africa (he mentioned that one player scratched cars by using a nail-cutter, just for the heck of it - but thats another story of how low level some of our national cricketers are), but the point is that cricketers do eat out on their own even when they are on tour.
