What you looking to do for a career in the long term, and where do you see yourself in 10-20 years time.

Don’t know what kind of a career I want. Don’t have any plans. Electrical engineering wasn’t even my idea, my dad told me to do saying they can do pretty much any thing, something about keeping my options open. Well the options are still pretty open and I still don’t know what I want to do.

As a man on the ground how are things where you live is it as bad as the media portray? Is it worse is it getting better?

Not sure how to answer this. Things are pretty much the same. Things aren’t getting better though.

Also whats the mood on the street at the moment, are you guys suffering from Load shedding just as much as the northerners or not so much…?

We have to live 6 hours per day without power in my neighborhood. Defence and clifton stay shut for shorter periods. The situation is better here, but that doesn’t make it less horrible.
