There are two variations of the sher that I have read; and my research says that both are conisdered correct:

hum ko ma'loom hai jannat kee haqeeqat lekin
dil kaY khush rakhnay ko Ghalib yeh khayal acha hai

&

hum ko ma'loom hai jannat kee haqeeqat lekin
dil kaY behlaanaY ko Ghalib yeh khayal acha hai

similarly Ahmed Faraz famous sher has two variations too and both are considered correct as he had revised one later but both become part of of work:

Tum takkalluf ko bhee ikhlaas samajhtaY ho Faraz
Dost hotaa naheeN har haath milaanaY waalaa

&

Tum Rasm-e-duniya ko bhee ikhlaas samajhtaY ho Faraz
Dost hotaa naheeN har haath milaanaY waalaa

I dont know tariq and aliyish....so I cant claim they are the most sweet. Ive read the Shikra couple posts here at GS and they sound so cute!
And friends....they are always to prefer na...... you just see them in some sort of better light. Now dont you dare oh dare....twist anything again. I will be back tomorrow, now its go home hour.
