Quite honestly it seems to me that these may be a **couple of really dissatisfied individuals **that need to lay blame for their own frustrations or lacking life on something or someone other than themselves.

Roman is one, who is the other girl?

Arent all humans supposed to be freed from carnal desires, lust, greed and all in the world hereafter?

That's what I was thinking... isn't heaven all about being united with The Creator and being in His Glorified Presence and Love.

Where does sex fit in? It shouldn't..not when you're surrounded by The Lords grace and love...you won't even need it.

Time for me to leave this thread...

carry on with your Sunday Sermon.

^Ditto

Wht a depressing route this thread's taking. :(

Dude there's lots of things one can joke about...but sex in heaven?

Tis clearly stated in the Holy Book that Our spirits would be in total awe at the wonder of God.

Femme, a desire not to have a desire is also a desire. I think we will retain some of our natural instincts if not those base desires. But the best thing is that everything will be legalised there. (Although, thats the case in the Netherlands, but its not Eden afterall).

I can't wait to have my share of sharab=e=tahoor. :)

Actually you do have sex in paradise.....

If it will be legalized in a state which is supposed to be 'all pure' then why can't we have it now?

WHich paradise we talkin here dude? And does that hold true after the day of judgement? Coz according to what I know, the only relation would be that woudl matter woudl be ours with our Creator.

You have answered your question. We aren't pure I suppose. We are fickle, greedy and whatnot. I am sure, this won't be the case in the heavens above.

We are not pure?

I thought we as Muslims believe that ALL humans are born PURE as oppose to the Christian theory that humans are born out of sin. Whereas Muslims are born pure and they just have to maintain this state by following the prescribed mehtod.

If we're born PURE then how is it evil intentions enter our heads? And don;t give satan so much credit...we are sinners and prisoners of our own device by exposing ourselves to it..no?

With milk and honey streaming my soul will sure gain a lot of weight, I hope the hoors won’t mind a chubby AJ. Though, once someone told me you can get anything you want in heaven, so I guess I will go for Atkin & some carb pills.

On a serious note, the idea is stupid; any unnatural effort to elevate the perceived misconceptions about 'Umma' will not go very far.

About sex in paradise…

A man will have intercourse in Paradise with his wives from among al-hoor al-‘iyn and his wives from among the people of this world, if they enter Paradise with him. A man will be given the strength of a hundred men to eat, drink, feel desire and have sexual intercourse. It was narrated from Anas (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The believer in Paradise will be given such and such strength for sexual intercourse.” He was asked, “O Messenger of Allaah, will he really be able to do that?” He said, “He will be given the strength of one hundred (men).” (Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, no. 2459. He said, (it is) saheeh ghareeb).

Funguy you cant compare anything of this world with anything in heaven. The wine there will not have any bad effects.

another proof of how the scriptures are a work of the human mind, men to be precise. This is what compells me to believe in not believing.

^ thats your choice but the al-hoor al-‘iyn are also mentioned in the Quran, unless you dont believe in that either....

CB you're a human too.Im assuming it was important for the scriptures to be written so that you could actually understand them.

(I'll kill you on msn later.)

on a different note, I clicked on this link because i read "Interesting tid", and thought perhaps theres hope for the likes of me. I was crushed to discover that I was mistaken, and the conversation was infact about whether or not people will have sex in heaven.

people, please do not dispute post-heaven sex. That is my one hope of ever getting any action.

I guess all those hoors are gonna be awfully bored up there then.
