So it doesn’t look like vomit anymore? I got it off jang-group website ![]()
Re: Interesting Lehnga
no comments about the design but the colour is beautiful. That peach colour is what I have in mind with gold and bits of green. hmmmmm. now only if i could find a fabric in that colour. Infact if you ever come across it please get a swatch and mail it to me ![]()
Re: Interesting Lehnga
Pehle mein apni dehej (?) ke colors decide kar looN
j/k
I think it would look awesome with hints of green :k:
Paging Chanda-kh - I think you said once that you buy all your fabric from USA, where exactly is that? When I sometimes buy fabric from here, it’s so hard to get colors matching in Pakistan! Then you have to get them dyed and what not, it’s such a headache.
Re: Interesting Lehnga
Lehngas are alway interesting, specially when they are wrapped around a nice pair of legs.
Re: Interesting Lehnga
too much bollywood sehar :nono: jaheiz is the word ![]()

femme, go to one of those really trendy, expensive as all heck, upholstery fabric stores... they have gorgeous beaded and embroidered fabric and i bet you you'll find the swatch you're looking for with the colors you want! then you just have to version it into a bridal gown.
Re: Interesting Lehnga
upholstery, yessss! I was at G-street fabrics the other d ay but never went to the upholstery section. will try next time. thanks ![]()
Re: Interesting Lehnga
i know…but they always end up matching mine…depends if you have someone faithful taking care of you ![]()
I get it from a place called Kay Fabrics…here in Dallas…there is another place that i have heard abt (Kay’s sister store) both of them are owned by a family, and they have the most gorgeous fabrics i have ever seen!! and a pretty hefty price tag…goes from $20/yard to $500 per yard..
you can also find good stuff from Hancock..and Joanne fabrics…!! keep looking…you can find treasure from both the stores…
Harry Hines Market in Dallas reminds me of pakistan…since it has fabric stores of all ethnicities!! Mom and i got lost there once…and ended up buying tons of gorgeous fabrics…!! ![]()
as far as matching is concerned…get as much matching done from here…and let your darzi know what you want matched from pakistan…communication (persistent) helps in most cases..as i have learned..
Re: Interesting Lehnga
i love those colors too! i think they suit a slight tan desi complexion so well. i would pair that color with a bronze kaam.
Re: Interesting Lehnga
i agree would look good on a golden/tan complex
