Re: Interesting! Earthlike Planet found
creationism is not equal to the islamic view of how the world came about.
there really isn’t two schools of thought regarding how the world came about. at least, scientifically. creationism is a political issue. ![]()
i agree with tlk, i think this discovery is totally awesome, hope they do more research.
Re: Interesting! Earthlike Planet found
nothing can travel faster than light. thats a fact.
That is a fact as per knowledge acquired by us, the worldly creatures :)
it also means that whatever we are seeing in terms of the planet is 600 years old. that planet might not be there anymore now.
True that, but it is stars which are probably more likely to have ruptured/exploded into pieces than planets.
we can never reach there, but with advancement in science we may be able to predict lifeon that planet in fufture.
That is according to the knowledge and expertise we currently possess :)
Re: Interesting! Earthlike Planet found
I fail to understand it why so much fascination with it. It is 6 million light years away , we will never be able to find out if it still exits or it is a poof now. There is life on this planet which is crying for help and nobody listens to those cries. Pay attention to your dying planet and its folks people.
Eh kaisa gintee hai bhai - 600 light years in article, 6 million light year in your post. One of you will have to give me company at the bottom of the pile in the Science quiz contest
Re: Interesting! Earthlike Planet found
Its 600, not 6 million light years away ...
It will shake both the evolution vs creation school of thoughts.
et tu, Director saab? when did creation school of though gain the same status as evolution?
