Just a hint regarding all “haram things”, not everything is dead-haram, some haram items become halal/permissible if situation becomes life threatening i.e. eating horse meat, pig meat if you are starving and no food is available at all etc. If doctor says something is necessary to save life then it becomes permissible. If doctor deemed braces as life saver for him then it becomes permissible to get loan on interest, if it is for beauty/cosmetic purposes then its better to wait until he can gather that much fund or look for alternative treatment.
Thats why I don’t recognize Pakistan/Pakistani institutes as “Islamic”, there might be one or two institutions doing halal trade.
Thank you for posting these verses here, now you can read from here what other guppies were referring to, don’t apologize, as long as you learn from discussion and do it in civilized way there is no harm in arguments.
