No animal ie Cow is so pavitra that on it’s eating meat, killing human being is justified. (dadri, India case)
No book ie Quran is so pak that on burning it’s pages, burning of dharmshala is justified. (larkana, pakistan case)
No prophet is so devine that on making whose cartoon, killing is justified (Charlie hebdo case)
No religion is so sacred on name of which mass killing or genocide is justified (ISIS)
So in your opinion Islam makes more sense on whose name people kill people whether shia kill sunni ie muslims killing muslims, muslims kill christians, hindus, yahoodi, people kill innocent animals in the name of sacrifice, ridiculous indeed. I saw some posters during Eid depicting not to kill goat or camel in front of other animal. Is this violence makes more sense? or Islam makes more sense then Hinduism when people to kill in the name of jihad? isn’t it? like your words “How could it make sense that they killed someone whilst they are against what you believe” it is like that you believe in prophet muhammad and you will kill all those who don’t believe in him and make cartoons. Isn’t it? you believe in Quran and you will kill all those who don’t believe in it? some people are already favoring Ghazwa-e-hind. Hinduism doesn’t favor any kind of violence it says *sarve bhavantu sukhinah, sarve santu niramayah *ie everyone shall be happy and healthy both human beings and animals. In my opinion no ancient text makes any sense when people kill others on name of it whether it is Quran, Veda, Bible or any other.
