The article on the blacks and Pakis sounds crap. But there was racial tension in a nearby area a while back if I recall. Apparently some black people accused some asian shopkeeper of raping a black illegal immigrant. When asked to produce the victim, they said she doesn't want to come forward because she's illegal and doesnt want to be deported. Police couldnt find anything either. Lot of these things are just petty squabbles due to black areas losing out on business to Asian people. Stirring up tension might drive away the Asian businesses, but in that case the guy stayed put (probably kept a shotgun under the counter). For whatever reason, Pakis do flood the market with better businesses, reminds me of Idi Amin and Congo in the 50s or 60s.
