Guys, I have been trying some Asanas for over 6 months, and some of them I have mastered in no time, and some others I can’t even begin to begin. The “Flying Crow” is a real pain in the hiney. I have no problem with Chest Chin Forehead to Chataranga, upward Dog, Downward Dog. working through the Warrior positions, and have slowly started doing the Lotus. This Flying Crow is unbelievable.
i find downward dog a little hard to do especially in proper technique...... ashtanga is wicked..but to relax... its either kirpalu or hatha that is better... do you mix them up NY or do you do strictly ashtanga?

Either I didn't had enough coffee today, or u might have a sevier head injury, and u are not in your senses.
I couldn't understand what these yoga position has to do with Indian making your life miserable.
NYAhmadi, this is nothing..this is only first step. Wait till you practice the other positions like Jataveshtitaka, Vrikshadhirudhaka, Babhravya, AUPARISHTAKA etc ect.;)
when i was in high-school, had yoga classes for a couple of years. i can do some weird looking postures, but dont know the names too well. my favourite used to be chakrasana (the wheel position). that used to be a tough one.. padmaasana (lotus) and vajraasana(dunno-wot-it-is) are the easiest to calm your mind. all i do now is shavaasana (corpse position) for eight or nine hours a day.
NYA, can you do that stuff - taking in water thru one nostril and bringing it out of the other? ;-)
Just did a 50 min workout. Yaaroo, this Triconasna and Janu Shearshashna opens up your tense body like no one’s business. I feel so light already. In my opinion, Yoga is the biggest gift India could give to humanity. I don’t think any religion or any other society can match the contributions of Indians in the area of mind and body development.
