PD, dividing two communities poles apart in their religious beliefs is not a tough task to do. And everything cant really remain great when such a huge population of hindus and muslims is living together. Everything is still not that great, but definitely its better than Pakistan where only muslims are living. I know that this may anger many here, but for me its a fact we cant get away with.
So they demanded a separate state for muslim and got that too. Well begun is half done, but did they begin well?
PD, just become a bit more honest and let me know how many of ur fellow Pakistanis think about Gandhi in same way as U do. Nehru is said to be the architect behind modern-day India. Do U see any difference between plight of muslims in India and plight of hindus in Pakistan? Keep in mind that U guys say Jinnah was secular, and we claim Nehru to be same.
Exactly, its really heartening to note that someone here has the courage to speak like this. U know I often cite the example of radicalized Paksitan to my hindu friends who are hell bent to take lessons from Pakistan in terms of treatment to minorities.
Well PD, I consider Iqbal to be the greatest poet and philosopher, but after all he was a human being too and was prone to mistakes. In my views Jinnah and Iqbal divided 500 million muslims into three parts. Those who feel that they did great service to muslims of subcontinent are entitled to their views just like I m to mine.
