hahhaa yeh.. the map is all red in the UP-bihar area.

i remember the times when we used to have this fatass book at home we had to look up for train timings. and the long queues months in advance to book overnight journeys. and once being stuck for 2 days in a train coz of some cargo train derailment.

they have really stepped it up in the past 10 years to match all the new fancy airlines.

that book is the official indian railways timetable by wheeler $ co. .that’s lyk the the holy book of railways. .we still use it. . ppl use onlyn reservation system mostly nowadays. .that’s a positive. .and they r trying to do away with the paper ticket altogether. .:k:

the southern railways is so different. .its lyk u’ve come to a different planet. .clean stations, adherence to rules and regulation, neatness, etc. .wish the guys at NR take a leaf out of their southern counterpart’s book. .
