I think Gen Zia Ul Haq put it in simple understandible terms to the then Indian Prime Minister during the Cricket Match in Dehli when India was threatening Pakistans border.

I agree, India has a lot more to lose in a nuclear conflict than Pak does. The current state of Pak is no better than what it would be after nuclear annihilation. Cockroaches roaming the street, isnt that what they say ?? :)

I would say what you consider scurry back to their holes in Pak was simply an outcome of pussy politicans under western pressure.... As a reaction to that, the military over took the country... I think if the Pak military was really loosing they would have come back and praised the PM for calling them back.. instead the opposite happened.. I will let you decide!

Well obviosuly the Indians were being whipped, hence the total Pak media blockade and alll the other stuff, like blocking news abt the 2 Indian F-16s shot over Pak territory. We had a sissy prime-minister, that's just it. The war was won by Pakistan.

As per your then PM, he was not even aware of the whole Kargil mis-adventure. It was your current President who masterminded everything. And seeing his kneejerk action in Balochistan, I have no doubt that Mush alone planned the Kargil mis-adventure.

Whats wrong with whats being done in Balochistan? If the Indian army can justify killing thousands in Kashmir... Whats wrong with what the Paki army is doing?
If the Indian army justifies there act by saying its for the good of the country..then I guess same could be said about what happened in Balochistan.

I dont think there is anything wrong with crushing extremists in Balochistan, but similarly Pakis should stop making a big hue & cry when the Indian army crushes terrorism in Kashmir.
However, my point in the previous post was that Mush is known to be trigger happy (going by Kargil & Balochistan). Its a different matter that he faced defeat in Kargil. The Balochistan repercussions remain to be seen.

The difference between Balochistan and Kashmir is that Balochistan is a recognized part of Pakistan, while Kashmir is a a land occupied by Indian and who have no place being there… Thus Kashmiri freedom fighters have a right in fighting India, which is actually not supposed to be there in the first place.
