Woman Cut Husbands Penis w/Scissors
WAUPACA, Wis. -- A rural woman was charged with substantial battery for allegedly cutting her husband's penis with scissors _ an injury that required 15 stitches to repair.
A criminal complaint said the husband let his wife, Theresa L. Hedtke, bind his hands with duct tape. Hedtke then used the scissors in an effort to get him to confess to having an affair, according to the complaint.
Hedtke, 42, allegedly told police she didn't intend to cut her husband. He was treated at New London Family Medical Center.
Hedtke appeared Monday in Waupaca County Circuit Court, where Judge Raymond Huber released her on a $5,000 signature bond.
The substantial battery charge carries maximum three and a-half years in prison upon conviction.

I know he did something really horrible, but I dont think cutting off his penis is the right thing to do. Its not like cutting a banana you’re holding. We’re talking about the human body here. Its no different than cutting a hand off.
I’m not even a guy, and I can sympathize with the pain that must be involved.

lol, it is extremely different…losing a hand really isn’t that big of a deal. however, apart from certain internal organs…the loss of a penis for a man is by far a greater loss than any other body part on both the male and female bodies.

Have to go with fartguru on this one (as tempting as a knife will look if my husband ever crossed that fidelity line). He really made a valid point about where is the line.
One other thing, just like guys claiming a girl had it coming because she dressed a certain way after they rape her, this woman is saying he had it coming because he brought a prostitute to the house. OK, devil's advocate her, but my aunt can't stand a girl that her son is dating and calls her the sl*t and the prostitute all the time. How do you know that this is not the case? All she said is that he brought a prostitue to the house, not had sex, that was what was infered.
As for the drinking. I consider a sip of beer drinking while a friend of mine considers over 2 glasses drinking, under is just "wetting the whistle".
You are reading what this woman is saying and putting your own definition of what she said on it. It didn't say he had sex or anything like that, what she said could have been the neighbor spoke to him at the doorstep, depending on that woman's definition.
Now as for the cheating, what is the line there? What if he was cheating outside the house, then is cutting it off too much or should she just trim? What about just saying to another woman that she is beautiful, that could be considered cheating, can she cut it off then?
She ought to be condemned for what she did, not praised, she assaulted someone with a weapon and as much as guys bleed down there, could have killed him.
Most of you women would be saying how unfair it is if it was a guy slicing a woman's breast for infidelity or for throwing acid in a woman's face if she spoke to another guy. What's the difference between them and this?
EDIT: One other thing, he was doing nothing at the time he was assaulted except sleeping which makes this a premeditated act, not an act done in the heat of the moment, think about that for a minute before you praise her. She could b saying anything for sympathy and leniency right now since he wasn't doing anything and there is no proof that he did.
