Both wins in the first two ODIs were very entertaining from cricket's point of view. But for India the worries are not just disappeared, the victories were not that convincing to call it 'team is back in rythem'. There are patches of batting and bowling sparkles, but not consistant enough to call it a strategical and formational evaluation for WC.

Both India and Pakistan are finding it hard to get into ODI rythem before WC. Let see what next 4 ODIs in the series brings for India. The experiments must stop right at this minute and lay down the final cards for WC move.

WI only have themselves to blame. They lost the plot by allowing the last three Indian wickets to add almost a hundred runs (90-7 > 189)

190 still should have been chaseable. Chanderpaul played well but once again could not finish the game off

So all credit to India for not giving up even in the face of a seemingly lost cause.

But what's this? seems like the Indian umpire was at it again!!!

This worldcup is going to be game of 'Middle Overs'. This means the team which control middle overs on those slow truners very well with both batting/bowling will have good chance. This means Spinner all rounder will play crucial role. Like of Hafezz, Mailk, Sachin, Yuvrah, Afridi, Gayle, Samuels & Powar etc will be very crucial in this worldcup. That is why I think, apart from AUS which is always favourite to win in any concdition, teams like India, SL, Pak & WI will have very good shot at this worldcup. Eng, SA & NZL might as well say good by to the worldcup.

This is controversial but I think Afridi will be very useful in worldcup and Pakistan should think of giving him some ODI matched before worldcup and let him bat lower down the order.

Players like Yuvraj, Afridi, Malik, Hafeez,Sachin, Gayle etc will provide these teams opportunity to play deep batting lineup without giving up too many run when bowling.

From 7-90 India recovered to 189 all out ... thanks to ALL-TIME favorite player Agarkar, some people are just ungrateful of his contributions :p

Good to see for once that india is actually winning from a surely loosing situation. usually its the other way around.
i think kaarthick played well but i have always seen him as a one hit wonder. Anyhow, he deserves another chance and lets see how he does.

and and and SIR agarkar does it again. this guy is truely amazing. i think india will definetly need his services in the world cup becuase he actually bats consistently well in the tail.
still, i would like to see the (munaf, nehra, zaheer, agarkar) combo being tried because collectivelly they all have a lot of talent.....

I think the match is fixed...for the lousy performance in the recent past by Indian team they cannot afford to show more losses and so ....

hmmm…i think the fact that they hosted the series to be played in INDIA is enough. i dont thnk they need to fix the match after that…!!!
