India needs to bat first and put up a huge total. Even with the mediocre Indian bowling, this WI line up cannot chase anything more than 275-300.

India wer 260 and odd in 37 Overs last Saturday**.(It was a time when I was closely monitoring the game and my energy was flowing in to the team.But I made a decision to go out and have drinks and that decision cost India dearly.I feel had I stayed back,India would have crossed that magical figure of 450+.Now for this match,I am going to get myself glued to to T.V or I will be consuming my Ballentines sitting in front of the T.V and let’s see our result).**

THe thing to remember is that this game is at Chennai..so the most important game played there was b/w Eng and SA. IF the same pitch is used, then even if India don't bat first their spinners can put Windies into a bit of trouble. And coming back to bowl Windies fast bowlers may end up getting hit since the ball will get on to the bat easier for Indians.

So over all I think India should win this....lets see...

If India wins, they face Australia in QF, if they lose, they face Sri Lanka.

I think India has a better chance of defeating Sri Lanka. Australia, will recover from their loss and will be a very dangerous team in the next game.

India should lose on purpose to face Sri Lanka.

On these pitches, Sri lanka are a better team than Australia and India will fancy beating Australia more. Sri lanka will give them a touger time. Aussies will be pumped up but they do NOT have enough variety in their bowling to challenge good sides consistently.
