India vs Srilanka "La Grand Finale"

DISASTER!!!

16.3 Harbhajan Singh to Jayawardene, no run, tragedy! Jayawardene turns the ball just wide of mid-on and Sangakkara starts off as the
batsman calls "Yes." But sent back mid-way, Sangakkara cannot
regain his crease as Mongia rifles in the throw for Harbhajan to
collect and break the stumps.

Batting sensibly Sri Lankans are trudging their way along..

i doubt whether it would be a walkover.....Murali , Jayasuriya and Dharmasena excel on crumbling wickets..

Mongia gone :(..why the heck did Ganguly change the batting order..

Mongia should'nt be playing in the first place as Laxman was O.K. and had adjusted to the Srilankan conditions.
But, let us wait and see. I hope the two guys, Tendulkar and Sehwag will be able to take the team to a safe place from hereon.

if shewag is there for another 10 overs, india should win this one quite easily.

phir match rukh gaya . Rain ke wajah say… :nook: :nook:

Everything seems to be favoring the Lankans. Poor Indians had to toil for 2 successive days and we never got to bat.

We could have repeated the 99 WC hammering of the Lankan's. Lucky guys, they escaped.

match over
trophy shared

play abandoned due to rain

A highly unsatisfactory end to the tournament.

Is it really true or just a guess?
I expected Indians to "massacre" the Lankans, finish perhaps with 5-8 wickets to spare with 8-12 overs remaining.

I would have loved to see Tendy, sehwag and Gangs, whacking Murli & Co., Unfortunately the tournament got washed away. I think India did perform satisfactorily in this tournament.

Satisfactory!!!!, their performance was second to none, performed very well.

another tournment went undecided after three nation cup due to rain :(
anyway well played both teams its supposed to be the match to watch a clash b/w 10dulkar, Sehwag and Murli & Co.

khair next time may be ....till then ..lets get ready for Pak Vs Aus test series oh but that only if Aussi Chickens dont "pukh pukh" :)

PS : they has already started doing "pukh pukh" by "concerning" about the safty in Shajrah !

It's true - Match abandoned and trophy shared.

I guess the tournament sponsors are going to Sue the Sri Lankan Bhagwaan for the Rains or may be ICC is going to demand damages from the Indian Bhagwaan .

Changez ji - aap hamesha 'massacre' ki baat kyon karte hain :)

Anyways - Congratulations to Indian & Sri Lankan players for playing well.

well unfortunate it is,,,

i would like to see how Sehwag, yuvraj and kaif play against murali etc....
true test of theri potential ..

it might be coincidental (with my nick) but the way Lankans batted and Indian bowled and looking at the recent performance of Indian batting line up, I was expecting a whacking or a massacre of Lankan bowling. :)

It could have been the other way too ;) remember what happen to the Aussies in 2nd semifinal they were crusing and whacking the Lankans but the end result was that Lankans won :)
