Re: India Vs Ireland (06th March) @Bangalore
All these brilliant little deliveries and they're still not getting wickets, must be frustrating for the Irish
yeah very watchful batting from dhoni and he is keeping Yuvraj in control as well...
Re: India Vs Ireland (06th March) @Bangalore
that was funny - Dhoni runs but Yuvraj simply knows it will be a boundary and doesn't bother
Re: India Vs Ireland (06th March) @Bangalore
now the singles and doubles - goo d running - is getting under the Irish skin
Re: India Vs Ireland (06th March) @Bangalore
In the old days, anything hit in front of the wicket, the batsman called, behind the wicket, non-striker called. Square of the wicket was always Trisanku land (no ghar kaa na ghat kaa). Nowadays, as Gavaskar pointed out, both batsman seem to be looking at the ball and then each making a decision at the last minute - recipe for disaster.
Yuvraj was very selfish in turning back to the crease at the last minute. In the last match vs. England, he did the same to Dhoni, refusing an easy single when Dhoni hit it to deep mid-off in the last ball of an over.
Re: India Vs Ireland (06th March) @Bangalore
Yuvraj get the runs, you already got the wickets....
Re: India Vs Ireland (06th March) @Bangalore
^^ Agreed

Bad Yuvraj. He should be fired :)
Re: India Vs Ireland (06th March) @Bangalore
what channel are you guys watching the match on?
do you guys see the same after match show with harsha bhogle as we do?
Re: India Vs Ireland (06th March) @Bangalore
^ I was not implying "Bad Yuvraj" be fired :(
As a fan, just wanted to point an obvious room for improvement in general in the dept. of running between the wickets.
He is doing great at the crease though.

So in time of need use it…
and other times…“I don’t like it..it doesn’t work…”
Re: India Vs Ireland (06th March) @Bangalore
why are the Irish bowling for defence? it is not like they can time-draw the match. I think this is bad thinking on their parts - the only chance they have is to toss it up, take some risks and attack. Instead they are bowling and field-set to limit two's to ones.
Re: India Vs Ireland (06th March) @Bangalore
5th wicket down...
Re: India Vs Ireland (06th March) @Bangalore
