A bit of banter is ok but let's not overdo it

Tendulkar was in sublime form today. If he had managed to bat right thru the innings, I am sure India would have got much more than 338! And it is not just india who have serious bowling worries but also England. The english attack looked pretty toothless today minus Broad. Only Bresnan bowled with any control. They were poor against Holland as well

England should have won comfortably from 278 for 2 with 61 needed off 54 balls but this is what pressure can do to you. They botched an epic chase towards the end for sure but they would be mightily relieved that they did not atleast lose the game. A tie is still better than a 1 or 2 run loss.

i Was hoping Broad would play and being smacked all around the park as i love his face when he is tonked all over the place

A very good match nonetheless .... i just can't get how PPL (esp. Pakistan Fans) get any satisfaction out of Indian defeats or such a tie

If they hype up their team than the reality gets them at the end of the match so just try enjoy a good match of cricket

I like Pakistan to win and If India or SL play any Gora team i'll support the Desi Brothers any day over them

So PPL Chill and enjoy as long as it lasts without being childish/naive :D

What a game it was .... wonderful

England should have won the game but taking PP @ 42nd over turned the table. Zaheer bowled really well. In fact around 32-35 over or so, Botham and Gavasker were talking about PP. Gavasker was of the opinion that Andrew and Bell are set so England should take the PP while Botham was saying they are already scoring at good rate they should not take the PP till very end because normally with PP comes falls of wicket.

Anyways, wonderful inning by Andrew, he almost won it for England. Unfortunately, as soon as I turned on the TV, Tendulkar got out so I did not watch his inning :D

Powerplay should never be taken between 30- 40 over range. It is useless untess there is a slogger at the wicket.

Taking PP at 45th over is a bit too late because the teams have to slog regardless.
42nd over makes the most sense to me.

By the way Strauss got caught behind twice but neither the bowler nor keeper appealed. That was just dumb

A lot of bad misfieldings by both teams but the one that stinks the most is the one by Tendulkar at the boundry line which went for four. This match is a good indication that every run counts

Didn't see the Strauss caught behind but heard about it. Hopefully the team will be hungrier next time. Makes no sense to not appeal.
Considering poor performance of all bowlers, maybe Sreesanth will be considered. If he mixes up short ones with yorkers and inswinging deliveries, he can be a good support to Zaheer. The one game sitting out may just light a fire under him.
