well, really…i’ll still say ‘never close to’…243 was still good enough for BD…an Indian loss was never on the cards… u can say they were equally good at that moment but never better…and if the first day of test match was the sole criteria for the final outcome then there r a lot of results which would be different now, isn’t it my friend?
