In Tests the slip cordon is porous. In one day the focus is not as much on slips. Fitay mun Dhawan, Nohit Sharma, Virata, Rahane, Naina, Sir Jadeja are really explosive on the field.
Re: India v Zimbabwe at Auckland, Mar 14, 2015
Both India and NZ had very similar last group games, both were put under some pressure and both managed to chase down a competitive 285+ total despite a slight hiccup at the start of the innings
No matter how good the batting, you don't want to find yourself chasing a big total for the first time in a KO game
Good for India that Raina got a big score

Maybe Jimbabwe don't have fast bowler. But they gave spin to Naina. And we all know Naina likes spin. And is vulnerable to pace.

The way India played this match a better bowling and fielding unit like Aus and NZ would have won this match.

Tough to be at ones peak every match. Almost preferable to lose one match before knockout rounds begin. Good thing is Naina got some practice. And some other batsmen got to play under lights.
In the knockouts depending on which one or two players have a good day the game could swing. No clear favorites. Time will tell.
