India to play role in Afghanistan

^ no cultural links? it even features prominently in Indian epics. after the advent of Islam, it shares its primary religion with almost as many other muslims of India.India build Afghanistan’s legislative building, highways…so yeah, I’d say India has been very good to Afghanistan.

To say India has no cultural ties with Afghanistan is not unlike saying Pakistan and India have no cultural links.

Every part of the world is mentioned in the Indian (actually Hindu) epics, so is it an Indian world? Hardly so.

Muslims in India are a minority, so it’s a stretch to make up religious affinities based on that weak linkage. You’re argument would fly when we are talking about the Hindu Kingdom of Nepal.

India’s entrenchment through these building projects is nothing but to create a base to launch anti-Pakistan elements both within Afghanistan and towards Pakistan. Pakistan is Afghanistan’s lifeline…let me re-stress that, LIFELINE, meaning that basic foodstuffs to advanced equipment are sent through us. By putting up Indira Gandhi Hospital in Kabul or building a pet project here or there means jack in the larger scheme of things.
