Govt planning major surrender on Kashmir issue: Advani
Senior Indian party leader L K Advani has claimed that the UPA government was planning a major surrender on the Kashmir issue. He was speaking at the BJP’s national executive in Lucknow. The senior party leader said the BJP would oppose any such plan as the government has not taken the country into confidence, on the status of talks with Pakistan. “The UPA government is working on a big compromise over the Kashmir issue. The India public should take action against such a compromise. We should oppose the compromise as far as we can,” said Advani. The BJP wants the government to make its position on Kashmir clear in Parliament, he added.
