whether this step is a “drop in the ocean of india’s GDP” or a “distraction”, it’s a baby step in the right direction of progress, the two countries would depend on each other more and more which is a good thing, which would mean they would stop f-ing each other over in the long run…see

You are obviously not in touch with reality here. Pak initiated Kargil even when Vajpayee-Nawaz Sharif were talking peace, so its naive to think that a little bit of trade will stop them from trying such stunts.
