A lot of countries have the money to "atleast try" a lot of things, but that doesnt make it prudent or viable. That same money India spent on this mission could have been much better spent far closer to home
Atleast Indians had the resources and capability to atleast try. We don't even have technology for remote controlled aircrafts.

envy and jealousy towards Indians and the paranoia for the perceived anti-Islamists.
BTW envy, jealousy, and paranoia are strictly forbidden by Quran. And yet we are committing these sins in the middle of Ramadan.

S. Korea just had a failure too. And many new space projects by US and Russians have had troubles.

You gotta be kidding me. This is the biggest waste of money since they tried that whole Big Brother stunt in the UK. You have people dying of starvation in India and they are trying to get to the moon.

this thread has disturbed somewhere the muslim pride as usual....they talk as if the mission had been a thorough success if done in some islamic state by muslims....one can go thru all the posts and this is the conclusion.
ISRO has declared that 95% results have been achieved, but once again the Hindu??? pride will disturb them.......
Hindu??? India has got more universities than all Islamic states have all together.....and the result is this attempt to moon....not for supermacy, but for new achievments.....but is difficult for close-minded people to understand.
