You are repeating '62 story about Aksai chin .... nothing new ... China had no role in Azad Kashmir ...
India China tension does not help Pakistan in any way ... they will not come to help in case of a conflict as they have shown in the past. So as i have said before if you are counting on Chinese or Amercain help to protect ... forget about it .... Pakistan has to learn to fight it's own battles .....

As I have told you before, that was 1962 and this is 2009. There were a lot of reasons for why China captured Aksai Chin which are not really relevant today, and China knows that too.

Why are you guys ducking, let me remind you what we are discusing... US drone attacks on Pak and Chinese attack on Indian bunkers plus several hundred incursions, whats your take on that?

I think you are side tracking the discussions for obvious reason... No one fights any ones battles, what they teach in Indian schools wrt to pak is for home consumptions and beside the point. The discussion at hand is Chinese detroying Indian bunkers + much much more and India don't even make a pigs squeak, Do you dig?....
^ US will not attack India, if thats what you are trying to get at. US has as much at stake in a healthy India US relationship as India does. And the fact that Obama has a lot of Indians in his team, and Indians are one of the bigger financial supporters of Democrats in the US also goes in our favor.
Now Pakistan unfortunately does not have that luxury, and also has a bad track record to boot. So obviously US does not have any qualms in dropping drones.

(that some low level state department offical will call up the President and he will take a U-turn) ....Obama also knows this and so do his advisor's ..... they will want to play role but are aware of the sensitivites of Indian position. Remember last time it was US that had "pushed" Pakistan in a certain direction. Musharaf was talking about "out of box" solutions and had agreed to "set aside" UN resolutions. So they can play a "constructive role" in bring any end to the conflict.

So far the actions of US president have shown one things .... he is not going to let Pakistan play the games that they usually do and from the actions of Pakistan you can make out that they have been rattled !!!!
First Richard Holbroke has been appointed the man for Pakistan and Afghanistan .... so that virtually leaves no room for a "special envoy" for Kashmir specifically (though he "might" cover this areas also)....
Secondly Obama has openly stated the "carrot and stick" approach of his administration to Pakistan ..... you do the job or you get no money ...simple plain english.
In the end the statement of foreign minister of Pakistan .... literally placing Pakistan in China's lap ..... shows how shaken the establishment in Pakistan is by the turn of events.
It will be interesting to see the events in next few days as new "alignments" take place in the region .... time to face reality indeed !!!!!
