Re: India - At position 134 one of the worst countries to live
We keep spending more and more money fighting each other or threatening each other by buying more and more weaponry. Until India and Pakistan kiss and make up, the kind of human development that this index relates to will not improve, because poverty reduction and skill-sets are a big part of the index.
On the gender issues side we call ourselves civilized but less said the better.
