It is quite hilarious to see some people here jump around trying to assess battlrfield tactics and nukr protocols. they'll do better to leave suc matters of vital national interest to their betters...such as a certain clandestine nw that the visiting king.G referred to.
here is the tactic - call assistant vice deputy admin asst to condi and leave voice mail. if urgent send gmail
i remember that time. my father was in the USA and he told us he might have to go to pakistan in case war broke out. He got calls from a few colleagues too. Those were the scariest days of my life as i thought at that time he would never be back.
You would hope that on a forum populated by intelligent people, some exceptions noted, we could talk peace and float ideas towards achieving that aim-not bicker about war!
Allah, people are aware that it is our generation that MUST end this nonsense and achieve a lasting peace.
Yeah India is always saying "almost" would if you were a boxer in a ring and the bell rings would you say "am almost ready to fight" there is no "almost" in war. And when India says "our patience is 'almost' exhausted" then what means India is not ready to have a war with Pakistani, because they are too scared.
Any peace achieved in Kashmir will be on largely Indian terms. It behoofs Pakistan to accept this reality. India is the engine of South Asia, the dominant nation. We cannot afford to be in this perpetual proxy war-it drains Pakistan far more then it does them.
I feel any of the following are fair solutions:
Kashmir as a dual-administered region. 1 Pak/1 Indian Administrative head, with a council.
Just call it a day and accept the defacto border as permanent.
