**Mr. Moderator...
your comments are eagerly awaited on ZZ's point. Lemme put it like this ...what do you think would have caused the sudden evaporation of "India's fear of defeat", now that India has said it will play a test in Pakistan. You are not going to say ..Pakistan's recent performance against England...are you ?

I think you should know the situation better in this regard. Was Indian government really worried about the clashes and security of their players or were they just waiting to see the moment when they feel Pakistani team is more vulnerable.
If it's the later case then they r living in fool's paradise as they have underestimated Pakistanis especially when they are playing Indians.
Here comes another dude......
That would perhaps explain why India has defeated Pakistan in the last THREE WORLD CUP encounters!! After the defeat in Bangalore the plane carrying the Pakistani team back to Pak had to be diverted and Pak's members of parliament including the then PM Benazir expressed outrage at the defeat and ordered investigations - Now guess which country can't take defeat normally!!
India's last test series in Pakistan was drawn and that was the time when a very weak Indian side(selected under controversial circumstances) under Srikanth was playing against a full strength Pak Side under Imran.
Pakistan's last tour to India was drawn. The match in Madras (which Pak won by only 12 runs to a standing ovation) could really have gone either way.
Between Pak and India , Pakistan may have won more no. of matches overall(test/one-days) statistically. But look at it closely and you will find that several of these matches that Pak won were closely fought and it was mostly India's inability to turn a good performance to a victory in the final stages of the game due to various reasons including luck that cost India the match.
Pakistan's recent performances should actually make them the underdogs in an Indo-Pak clash... far from instilling fear in India.
But you dream on............. if that makes you happy..

Chilli, if I remember correctly, you were the very same person who talked about why India shouldn't play Pakistan because your Jawaans were out in Kashmire battling the so called "Terrorist" and now you are talking about India not playing Pak in serious situations like Kargil, what was the serious matter a week ago, when you said India couldn't play Pakistan and now the government is letting the team go to Pakistan.
Thank you, come again
You dont have to strain yourself to "remember" what I said , just scroll up and read my posts again. My concerns were mainly security-related. And I still say that security should be an issue in Indo-Pak matches played in each others soil though I doubt the Indian govt. will even consider it.And as far as the emotional sentiments go...all that I said is that some people dont feel it is correct to play cricket match with Pakistan as long as Pakistan is carrying out subversive activities on our territory and I also said that the politicians exploit these sentiments to their advantage as and when it suits them.
I still stand by all that I said.

That's what I call dreaming.
But the question still remains chilli if India is agreed to play with Pakistan then what was wrong if they could play it a little earlier coz I don't think freedom fighters (or Pakistani military according to Indians) haven't stopped Jihad against India yet. In fact, India has called off the ceasefire against them. Would Indians be not concerned regarding the security of their team.
Khan Sahib.. sorry to say this but are you sure you aren't mentally handicapped ?... I have explained that "jehad" perspective again and again here but you still insist on referring to it... I think you dont even read my post from the start to the end in your hurry to post a rejoinder...... Bas, I am not replying again.....
sorry, I will read it again and see if I can find something new and then I will reply. Promise
Security is a real issue which is not given proper attention especially off the field. Anything could be expected from extremists on both the sides.
Finally, ready to kick ass this time.
I will try my best to play with india. This time we are gonna win
Insha-Allah
