People have their own ways of finding a relief corridor out of their problems, his wife went for religion , mirza ended up as an alcoholic .

Afsoos tu mirza ko bee is baat ka tah , jabhi kaah gahay thay :

The explanation you desire is that URDU language STILL needs to be combed just like we comb the disraught or unsettled HAIR through a comb or hair brush to maintain the hairstyle!.

Janab......ye URDU COLLEGE "WAFAQI URDU UNIVERSITY" mein kaise muntaqil hua...aik aisi kahahni hai jis mein hamara pura khandaan involved hai....jis ki wajhe se hum ne apni kaiee taqreebaat.. khushian.. family gatherings...apnay walid e muhtaram Jamiluddin Aali.. ke baghier guzareen.....kiyonke Abbu ki zindagi ka aik awaleen muqsadd Dr. Moulvi Abdul Haq ki uss khuwaish ko takmeel karna thaah...jo unhon ne martay waqt mere walid se ki theeh..."Jamil, Urdu University banana tumhara waada hai...mein saakh rakh kar jaa raha houn"............

Dr. Attaur Rahman...deserves a huge applause--as my father says, for making my Baba-e-Urdu and my Dad's dream come true......
Due to his ill health---Abbu requested AFTAB AHMED KHAN to take over as Deputy Chair of the Senate of Federal Govt. Urdu University a year back...but technically he still is part n parcel of this dream of Baba-e- Urdu...and Dad remains the Secretary of Anjuman Tarraqi-e-Urdu Pakistan...founded by Baba.

I met Baba for the first time in 1958 and I take this as an honor of being rare amongst many to have met Baba.

**Bajja Farmaya Qibla Ne.........MIRZA ASADULLAH GHALIB's wife UMRAOQ BEGUM was my great-great grand-dad's sister. It is on records that my great grand dad Nawab Allaudin Khan Alai...wrote to Ghalib saing that "Aap Mere Dada Hein" on which Ghalib wrote back "Mian Mein Tumhara Dada Nahin...DIL DADA Houn!"...and Ghalib also wrote a poetry..where at one point he mentions my great grand dad; **
"MEIN HOUN MUSHTAQ-E-JAFA MUJHE PE JAFFA AUR SAHEE........
and says at the end... "MUJHE SE GHALIB ALAI NE GHAZAL LIKHWAIEE...."
My Dad's takhalus AALI comes from ALAI the name which he is kept for my younger brother's son...."ALAI".
