typical Indian style.. last time I saw a complete India SL test match was one SL made like 950+ odd runs with Jaysuriya hitting 300+… in that match, Indians bowled round the wicket and outside the leg stump for like two consecutive days. I remember once Jaysuriya complained about this negative bowling to the Kulkarni who was the bowler and asked him to bowl in front of the wicket. That match was also Jaywardene Debut match..
Well I dont mind them doing it as its just a strategy to stop runs but problem kicks in when they just want to “do” it but dont want to “take” it. I remember when Nasir Hussain applied same tactics on tendulkar (asking bowlers to bowl tendi out side the leg), Indian cricketers, media and AWAM were so ticked off. Article after Article explaining how English cricketers are cry baby

I remember that too.. and I was laughing, that now Indians are getting dose of their own medicine... I have seldom seen Indian team fighting in a test match. They play for draw more often.. I have seen Sanjay Manjraker to be very critical on this point.

LOL...its easy for Manjrekar to be critical now. But when he was playing, he was party to such defensive tactics :)

India should have created a better pitch. Perhaps they though only India will be batting. If you make flat track don't try to cheat your way out of it.
