Puncture the skin but don't pluck the hair out, if the skin heals before the hair has has time to grow back you'll get another ingrown hair in the same place. Puncture it and let the skin around it heal before you pluck it.
This is what the man who does my waxing told me.. Ingrown hairs are a biatch.
Hmm...and what if I don't do anything about it at all? Actually, its right there on a blue vein/artery or whatever...and I fear I may end up damaging that...so I better not do anything about it...

yes it is. But if ingrowns or too much hair is really big problem then it is worth getting it done. It is expensive specially during summer, however in winter time you will find half price promotions or even better deals.

I've "sterilized" a safety pin with astringent or antiseptic and used it to get at the hair.
Is that weird?
No Sahar i do that too, the first time my husband saw me do it he gave me a dirty look, but now i get him to help :p
I've tried exfoliating and it didn't help, i don't get them when i wax thought, just when i shave.
