Dissolving the provincial assembly is an extreme thing. If PTI is not able to run the government, they should allow the other parties in the assembly to form their own government.

^ he can also instruct Khattak as party head, to send advice to governor to dissolve assembly, but then it will be governor's discretion to accept it or not. i'm just guessing don't know what the real law/procedure is.
he can ask PTI MPA to resign as you said, and that can probably cause re-election in KP
but question which is not answered yet, Who's pushing PTI against wall in KP? and how?
and if it comes to that, shouldn't he opt to sit in opposition instead of calling it quits? those who can push him to wall even when he's in govt, cannot they make sure he doesn't come into power after re-election? or then it will be easy because PTI now as good experience of protesting against Dhandli

The biggest hurdle in any government’s failure is the bureaucracy. If the government wants to do something its the officer bahadurs hold them back. Without controlling them the government cannot fulfill its election promises. If they try to bring them in line they could face unrelenting opposition from them which could make governance impossible. The other stake holder is military, what ever they are thinking no one knows. If PTI can keep both the army and bureaucracy at bay, then only they can provide the government they have promised people. If they are not able to deliver then IK says that they’ll leave the government.

Some time feel that IK is so simple very very simple man close to the rank of Malang, Jo keh diya so keh diya phir jawab mein main sun bhi Len ge suna bhi dein ge, samjh se baher hai ye case. Supporters ko dhandli or dharne pe laga diya baki FB ki duniya mein gum.... Sigh. From heart I wish PTI complete his five year turn in KPK so the public can judge better the taste of Change.

So what is new about that? This is the story of Pakistan since partition. This failed Pakistan History CM should resign as he can, he will not do anything to bring tsunami in KP or make naya KP.

I don't know about his balls, time will tell, but would you rather try to bring change, make a difference or just sit idle and gossip around?

no body is asking for sitting idle, if failed in governing one can sit in opposition. what i see today in NA and Punjab Assembly opposition is noticeable and has its own role to play, while in other provinces its almost nonexistent

As you can see from first article in first post by OP that is what he said, but the trolling OP only wanted to highlight last resort and present it as first step, enjoy.
His** first stop*, however,* will be to quit the government and sit in the opposition**.In interactions with me on these critical issues, Imran Khan is very clear in his mind. Either he will run the KP the way he wants or he will not stick around like other political parties, running in circles doing nothing.

may be next time, we are slowly getting there. last time there were hardly any MPAs who were not Ministers, so yeah one tiny step at a time : p first non-minister MPAs then talk about opposition
