If the roles were reversed, Nawaz would have said the exact same thing:

‘yes we know there was widespread electoral rigging but we accepted Zardari’s fake mandate in the name of democracy’

this is what mukmukka is.

He said exactly the same thing in the parliament.

He said that we knew rigging took place in 2008 elections, but we accepted the rigged mandate in the name of democracy (wtf?), as we assumed that next term is ours.

Apparently, electoral rigging is part of democracy of Sharifs and Zardari. Who believes this nonsense, seriously?
