The guy knows what he's talking about. This is exactly the type of leadership we need not the namby pamby 'let's hope it's alright on the day' approach of Inzimam ul Haq.

bechara inzy.... i dunno how he got to be captain..
Its very easy sitting on the sideline and making comments like imran does, Sure he was a great cricketer but rather than making comments why doesnt he go and see the pakistan cricket board and have proper constructive meetings, Then he would def be doing his bit.
Last time i heard was that he would have some input into this rebuilding process but I havent seen much of him.

If he gets involved in the re-building there's one guy he will definitely bring back in. And thats Imran Nazir. He's commented on imran's talent several times now. And I will agree, Imran Nazir has talent, but he has some technical flaws, too. If he can overcome those flaws then he's the best choice we have.
Then there is Younis Khan, which I am not is a good alternative anymore with Aasim Kamal in the side. But with imran's uncompromising, my way or the highway attitude, things might get messed up. So its better he stays on the sidelines, and keeps giving suggestions. If PCB has any brains, they'll pick the useful ones and discard the not so useful ones. Simple.
Here goes imrahn shooting his mouth of and spitting at the wind. Everything everyone else does is wrong. and he does that from a safe distance lest the lesser mortals expect him to actually get involved and do something more than destructive criticism. He does that in politics and he does that in cricket. He just wants the whole country to beg him to take over and prostrate to be saved and yet is too scared to put his name on anything that actually happens.
The dude has become senile and sounds more and more like a broken record
PS: I read somewhere that he is running a hospital for the poor. Should that be the case, may be we can put up with this kind of yak yak from him
I don't agree with Imran Khan's remarks about the current Pak team as he has myopic vision and either not with the individuals of negative attitude...we should be more positive and encourage the players...though I am not happy with some selectors...
Not happy either with Youhana's captaincy...
Not happy either with Shoaib Akhtar'r VC...a man who has a short temper and cannot tactically control his demeanor and speed...cannot perform as a VC...his career is full of ban after ban...so we need everytime another captain...no..no...
On a separate note...we have won some series and matches in the re-building process...its totally foolish to think to win every match and series...we should focus to win important matches and series and lose the trivial ones... :)
Another major cause of losing matches is injuries...because these days top players play more matches than ever...so we should have a very good pshysiotherapeuts in the squad too...they are as important as top players...
And one more thing...in Pakistan, the selectors don't consult the captain and the trainer...this must be harmonized too...
And it will be best that every top/national player has his/her individual coach and physio...to reach an optimum level of technical skills and fitness...
