The first time IJT was ever mentioned with Imran in the same sentence was in the early 90s when Imran was collecting money for the hospital. IJT helped him out and I suppose Imran being the principled guy trusted them since then. They turned on him and I suspect Imran's memory will be as strong as his loyalty.

Brown sahib was never a slur on sons or fathers of anyone. Imran mentions this as a concept of trying to imitate imports and looking down on indigenous customs. If there are any brown sahibs, they should apologize to the nation and grow a spine and a brain.

By Imran's definition, Jinnah was also a brown sahib because he wore a suit and completed education in the UK and worked within the system to create Pakistan.

I sincerely hope so, one of the saddestthings for me was to see Imran lose his liberal stance and align with right wingers. I would be elated if we can have the Imran of the 90's back. cuz that was a future leader of the type Pakistan had never seen and needed so badly.
