Re: Imran Khan-What a shame!
I think you are overreacting. There is a PTI coalition government in KPK. Give them and the Federal Government some breathing space. It is not even 2 months yet. Judge them after 1-2 years at the earliest. IK is not directly ruling the province. And without an end to violence and terrorism there, realitically little can be achieved. There are no quick fixes
Re: Imran Khan-What a shame!
Sadly I voted his party.
From last two days I have been constantly taunted about this!
Sad, how blind supporters of PTI made this thread Nawaz china trip vs Imran London trip...just sad! I campainged for PTI, even though my husband was agianst it but I went to every house in our neighbourhood to convince peopel to vote for PTI, I had no financial support, no rishtay dar contesting, no hidden advantages, I am just a housewife who not even intends to ever meet Imran Khan or whoever but whatever I did was to bring revolution in Pakistan. I have no immediate family in KPK, I have never been to KPK but after PTI gov. I feel i have some sort of bound and I specially keep myself updated what is happening there but it really irks me when i look at what s oing on there, no change, no revolution, same old police, people still fighting for charity food,no development projects even announced, nothing, just helicopter trip, police station sold for millions. Now** I feel bad for making people vote for a playboy, zani.**I am not here justifying anything all i mean is i am accountable for all my deeds and i feel somehow i am responsible for every child who sleeps hungary, every man who is homeless and all the mess which is goin on there.Imran is just making me kill myself, my expectaition may are way higher but atleast there should be somehting to feel good about, nothing just plain nothing.I never voted for any party before, this was the first and the last time thats it, I cant take any more blames.
Everything you wrote makes some sense except the bold part. Didn't you know that while campaigning? or is it revealed to you just recently? I mean nothing has come in media or through any sources that he reverted to same activities.
Re: Imran Khan-What a shame!
I seriously doubt tht you voted for PTI,hoenstly I am not able to understand why people bring IK personal life in politics, his play boy image is his past, talk about present and tht sitawhite case
I think you don’t know but los angeles court ahev given verdict in favour of IK. and keep one thing in mind IK is not PM of Pakistan so plz stop blaming him for every misery.
Re: Imran Khan-What a shame!
Really sad that you “voted his party”. Next time please vote for PPP or for Nooras to see your dream of revolution coming true. Bhutto zindai hey and there are at least 7 Sharifs lined up after Nawaz as heir to his throne.
You are not the ONLY one who campaigned for the PTI. There were hundreds of thousands of more. Your work is appreciated, but it seems as if your heart was not in your deeds.
As far far his trip to the UK is concerned, do you have a count of APCs conducted on this issue? Do you remember extraordinary join session of parliament on the security issue? Do you want me to give you the link of the resolution passed to fight the menace of terror?
If you still believe in their intent and think that IK is the biggest problem of Pakistan, then I am really sorry that you cast your vote for the PTI.
IK had made it already cleared that he does not want any more dramas in the name of APCs to deal with the security issue. He wrote to Nawaz Sharif that he wants an exclusive meeting of the real stakeholders to discuss the issue, (read this) instead of a meeting of half of the Pakistan which will eventually end in a failure.
At the end of the day, you have disappointed only your own self.

Very disapointing indeed. Camila Parker was always so ugly, seriously! I still cant believe how Charles chose this ugly horse over Diana!
p.s. from the pictures, it almost seems like Imran's injury is still there, he cannot stand in a straight posture anymore. I hope he gets the best treatment to get it fixed.
Re: Imran Khan-What a shame!
Imran goes to London every year around the same time, to meet his kids, as per his custody agreement. This year, his trip to see his kids has coincided with the medical treatment he needs in order to get back on track. And regarding his presence at this party, well, he is very well respected and well liked there, so cannot blame him for that. I dont think he would have stayed there too long, as his back wouldnt allow him.
Regarding the APC, that is essentially another drama in the making. After Imran’s rebuff, PML-N was forced to actually work on the agenda of the APC, and make sure that it would be something new and different compared to the previous 500 APCs we have had on the subject, with no result. PML-N postponed the APC because they said they ‘were not prepared’. So I think that by the time they are prepared, Imran will be back.

Most of those taunting... their leader has been in London for 2 decades. :D

A 2 years old kid can judge who is behind the thread . A supporter or a hater
Re: Imran Khan-What a shame!
Agree. an IK hater who wanted to bash him just for the sake of it + also emotionally blackmailing us at the same time.
Mostly likely supporter of the don.

kitne paisay milay hain IK ka supporter pretend kerke IK ko be-izzat kernay ke… ![]()
Re: Imran Khan-What a shame!
IK has a personal life like we all have. He went to UK for medical reasons like most of us would go if need be, and provided that we could afford it. nothing bad about it, i hope he gets good treatment there and recovers faster.
PTI followers are also being a bit extra defensive about it. this is first time he's enjoying this huge political support and popularity after the famous world-cup victory. and he needs to be extra careful about what he does and how he carries himself, what gathering he joins. I'm sure if he had slightest of feeling about what bad name these photos can bring to him and his party, and how his followers will need to defend him like all other parties he would have excused from joining this party. this only speaks of political immaturity and insensitivity towards dire situation back home.
and those who are bringing up examples of not-so-$harifs to counter the criticism on IK, need to know that IK is supposed to be different and better, no? if you've to justify IK by highlighting others mistakes, then it only means that there probably is very little difference between IK and THEM.
Welcome to the real politics, where your every single move is public. i remember people even criticizing zardari for wearing that loose jeans on his trip to France during 2011 flood.

Re: Imran Khan-What a shame!
So what has that got to do with IK? This was a Garden Party arranged by Prince Charles and those were some of his guests..
Re: Imran Khan-What a shame!
I don't know why IK's personal life has to be brought up, the OP has legitimate questions and all we can bring in is PM/CM's China trip? Two wrongs making it right I guess. Though PML-N probably knew about IK's trip and were not ready themselves so they called the bluff and invited for the meeting to "expose" Imran Khan. However, Imran Khan should've preferred to stay in Pakistan for the APC to show his sincerity for the country, a leader/person is known by priorities in times of need. We all blamed Zardari during flood times that he fled to UK, we should be able to accept the same for IK.
