Cricket is a team game but you will never understand it
Pakistan won that match with an innings but Nooras like you knows nothing about Cricket
I'm very much older than you and followed cricket keenly in the 80's and 90's, but fools like you never bother to understand what others are saying and just start yelling.
For last seventeen years he has tried his best to cash his popularity as captain of the cricket team, a fast bowler, hard hitter and winning of world cup and other crucial matches for Pakistan. What he had achieved in the world of cricket no Pakistani cricketer had ever come even near to him. He is not a politician and he should not have jumped in Paki politics to ruin his for ever glory in the field of cricket. He should have kept his profession alive by becoming a strong coach for Pakistani cricket team. He would have served Pakistan better in that position rather than indulging in dirt paki politics, ruining his self respect and self esteem.
I disagree. He believes in something and he is trying to achieve it just like he did in cricket. His method of politics can be criticized as can be for any other politicians, since our system is such that its not easy to start a party from zero and then get into the power. Bhutto had a good time in which people were tired of traditional politicians and a long martial law, he also had a good brain (as a foreign minister I admire him). Nawaz Sharif was blessed by a dictator and had great time to groom himself and gain power and money to have his own party one day. Imran Khan's struggle is a little different where there were two established parties, a gori wife, then a dictator's regime. He was ignored by the masses until his time came with PPP's corruption and PMLN's friendly opposition. He has his chance now, or NS will use 'sub ko khareed lo' approach to Judiciary and bureaucracy will diminish IK's advances in Punjab. He will be nowhere in 5 years as politicians, unless NS runs country like he has for last 16 months and things get worsen. But this time around Pakistan might not be in recoverable state after 8 years of AZ and NS corrupt government.
This is my opinion as I see it from PTI's perspective. But IK did the right thing to come into politics, the country gave him so much, its his turn to do the best he can, even on the cost of his reputation. If I were him, I would do the same over and over. Pakistan is worth it more than his reputation. Again, his political moves might seem immature, he is a human too, but his intentions are well known by friends and foes. He is an honest man (in today's definition).

18 years are enough to groom. He is still immature in politics and master of u-turns. Unfit to run a political office. A new thread can be opened on his failures as politician.
